Jon McGowan

Jon McGowan serves as Assistant General Counsel at Eagle Title. In addition to his role with Eagle Title, Jon is also a Partner at our affiliate law firm, Liff, Walsh & Simmons. He concentrates on assisting with various commercial real estate transactions in connection with his practice in business law and commercial real estate and finance.

Jon obtained his Bachelor of Science from the Helms School of Government at Liberty University with a focus in Western Legal Traditions. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he graduated in the top six percent of his class. While in law school, Jon was an honoree of the Royal Shannonhouse Honor Society and served as a member of the University of Baltimore Law Forum and the Real Estate Law Association.

Jon is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, and the Anne Arundel County Estate Planning Council. Additionally, he enjoys volunteering in various community activities, including those with Lighthouse Church and Arundel High School, his alma mater. He serves on the Board of Directors for Bethany Christian Services of Maryland and as President of the Annapolis Bourbon Club. Jon grew up in Crofton, Maryland, where he and his family currently reside.
