The Branch Manager will oversee revenue development, profit and loss management, and team performance while spearheading initiatives to expand market presence. Branch Manager Duties
- Financial Management: Own and manage branch P&L. Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure branch success and drive continuous improvement.
- Leadership & Culture: Drive the company vision, uphold Eagle Title’s core values, and provide operational and cultural leadership for branch success.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff while conducting regular performance reviews to foster growth and high performance.
- Client Service: Ensure Settlement Officers and processors deliver exceptional service aligned with Eagle Title’s Brand Promise.
- Operations: Oversee standardized processes, efficient settlements, and collaboration with management to streamline and improve service delivery.
- Facility Oversight: Maintain an organized, well-equipped branch and resolve escalated issues to support smooth operations and quality closings.
Sales Duties
- Business Development: Create and execute strategies to build and nurture relationships with real estate agents, lenders, and key clients.
- Client Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, manage settlement processes, and conduct in-house or remote residential signings. Must have or be willing to obtain an active Maryland Title Insurance Producer’s License.
- Market Presence: Represent Eagle Title at industry events, maintain a positive community presence, and stay informed on industry trends.
- Compliance: Ensure settlements meet all regulatory best practices and company standards while mitigating risk and enhancing expertise through continuous education.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team-building skills with 3–5 years of experience managing a branch, office, or team in a professional services industry. Experience in title or real estate is preferred but not required.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach, with a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships.
- Sales and business development experience, with the ability to drive business growth, develop client relationships, and support revenue-generating initiatives.
- Financial and performance management experience, including budgeting, financial reporting, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure branch success.
- Technology forward, with the ability to quickly learn industry-specific software. Qualia experience preferred but not required.
- Operational and compliance knowledge, with an understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and best practices in a professional services setting.
- People management and talent development skills, with a proven ability to hire, train, and mentor staff to build a high-performing team.
- Active Maryland Title Insurance Producer’s License (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
