Getting to Know Madeleine Songer from Eagle Title Annapolis
In this edition of Behind the Closings: Meet the People of Eagle Title, we’re heading to our Annapolis office to get to know Madeleine Songer — a Settlement Officer who brings as much energy to the closing table as she does to the spin studio. From her favorite Federal Hill food spots to her weekends filled with workouts, Orioles games, and sunshine, Madeleine’s enthusiasm for life (and for helping clients) is truly contagious.
What’s your favorite restaurant in your neighborhood?
Hersh’s or Riverside Taphouse are hands down my favorite places in Federal Hill – just depends on what I’m hungry to eat!
What’s your go-to coffee or lunch spot near the office?
I have to say I really enjoy Ingrano!
Best way to spend a Saturday?
Taking (or teaching) a workout class, hanging out at the Merritt pool, and going to an Orioles game!
If someone was visiting you for the first time, where would you send them?
I would send them to walk around Harbor East in Baltimore or Downtown Annapolis! These areas are both so beautiful!
Favorite local ice cream or dessert spot?
It has to be Bmore Licks in Federal Hill. Everything is so good, and they are open all year!
What do you love most about working in title?
I think what’s really cool about working in title is that each transaction is unique in its own capacity. You don’t see the same thing twice!
What excites you most about being part of Eagle Title?
The most exciting thing about being part of Eagle Title isn’t just the atmospheres of our offices, but the way everybody works together, making sure a transaction is completed as efficiently as possible.

I teach two to three spin classes each week at Merritt Clubs!
