Eagle Title is pleased to welcome Madeleine Songer as a Settlement Officer. Madeleine brings a strong foundation in legal research, litigation support, and corporate compliance to her role, ensuring every real estate transaction is handled with precision and care.
Madeleine’s experience spans judicial chambers, law firms, corporate legal departments, and academic research centers, giving her a broad understanding of the legal and operational aspects of real estate. While clerking at Ward & Co. Law, Chtd., she contributed to matters involving estate planning, administrative law, and business registration. She has also supported litigation preparation and due diligence at Groq, Inc., assisted with judicial opinion drafting in the Baltimore City Circuit Court, and worked with the legal team at Williams Scotsman, Inc., gaining hands-on experience in corporate, real estate, and employment law.

In academia, Madeleine served as a Research Assistant at the University of Baltimore’s Center for Sport and the Law, contributing to scholarship on sports law and assisting Professor Dionne Koller in the publication of her book, More Than Play. She was also active in the law school community as Vice President of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Society and as a UB Leads Orientation Mentor.
Madeleine earned her B.A. in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with minors in Entrepreneurship and Law & Justice. A former NCAA Division I swimmer and team captain, she brings the same discipline, leadership, and collaborative spirit to her work at Eagle Title.
