Madeleine Songer is a Settlement Officer in Eagle Title’s Annapolis office, where she brings a strong foundation in legal research, litigation support, and corporate compliance to support smooth and efficient real estate transactions.
Madeleine has developed a broad range of experience across judicial chambers, law firms, corporate legal departments, and academic research centers. While clerking at Ward & Co. Law, Chtd., she contributed to matters involving estate planning, administrative law, and business registration. Her prior roles include conducting due diligence and litigation preparation at Groq, Inc., supporting judicial opinion drafting in the Baltimore City Circuit Court, and working with the legal team at Williams Scotsman, Inc., where she gained hands-on experience with corporate law, real estate, and employment matters.
In academia, Madeleine served as a Research Assistant at the University of Baltimore’s Center for Sport and the Law, contributing to scholarship on sports law and assisting Professor Dionne Koller in the publication of her book, More Than Play. She was also active in the law school community as Vice President of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Society and as a UB Leads Orientation Mentor.
Madeleine earned her B.A. in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with minors in Entrepreneurship and Law & Justice. A former NCAA Division I swimmer and team captain, she brings the same discipline, leadership, and collaborative spirit to her role at Eagle Title.
