SUMMARY:
Growth driven title company seeks an experienced accounting and treasury professional to be responsible for accurately initiating wires resulting from real estate transactions within the banking system and to update and maintain the company’s internal metric and key marker tracking reports. This may also include bank transfers and other cash disbursements and further duties as identified for Eagle Title.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately initiate wires within the banking system without mistakes.
- Complete all wire initiations on the same day that the related settlement occurs and/or the wire is provided to you.
- Keep all internal and external parties informed regarding wire initiations and related information.
- Continuously update the Key Performance Dashboard reports and other internal tracking reports throughout the day with the most up-to-date and accurate information so that all information within a given day is recorded.
- Distribute the updated Key Performance Dashboard report to the management team daily.
- Respond to email inquiries on the same day and within no longer than 24 hours from receipt.
- Work with the Director of Underwriting and Post-Closing and the Director of Residential Operations to ensure that all disbursements, including uncleared disbursements, are handled timely and accurately within acceptable tolerances.
- Ensure funding transactions balance with the settlement statement before the wires are initiated
- Support with reconciling daily accounting discrepancies from various reports
- Update unpaid invoices and other miscellaneous reports.
- Support with additional funding duties as needed.
- May assist with post-closing funding reconciliation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or cash management.
- Possess outstanding organizational skills, an expert ability to multi-task, and a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in working with accounting and operational software systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess Honesty and Integrity.
- Ability to work with high dollar amounts under pressure.
- Proven ability to work with a team.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Able to work independently.
- All other duties as assigned.
Wage Range: $22/hr – $27/hr
