ANNAPOLIS, MD – March 8, 2021 Eagle Title, Anne Arundel County’s award-winning residential and commercial title services company, today announced the hiring of Barry DesRoches as Director of Builder Services. Mr. DesRoches brings his expertise from a lengthy career in leadership roles across the title and homebuilding industries, as well as decades of title company management and ownership.
With his strong background in new construction, Mr. DesRoches, will spearhead Eagle Title’s Builder Services Division. He will provide developers, builders, lenders, and other real estate professionals with a high level of title and escrow services tailored to support this specialized business segment.
With the addition of Mr. DesRoches and the Builder Services Division, Eagle Title and its affiliated law firm Liff, Walsh & Simmons, will be able to offer one of the most comprehensive collection of real estate law and title services available in Maryland.

Mr. DesRoches graduated from the University of Maryland in 1980 with a BS in Business Management, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola of Baltimore. As an active University of Maryland alumni, Barry served as President of the Robert Smith School of Business Alumni Association, a member of the school’s Board of Visitors, and honored on the school’s 75th anniversary for his dedication. He has been a Terrapin Club member for over 25 years, served on its board of directors, and is a member of the Board of the “Friends of the University of Maryland Golf Course”.
Equally active in his community, Barry served President of the Rotary Club of Crofton, Maryland and was a recipient of their Rotarian of the year award and is a former board member of the Crofton Chamber of Commerce.
